You should buy the compact camera, if you come to conclusion that you don't have high expectations. NOTICE: not every camera has such an application. It's needed to familiarize oneself with the functions!

The reflex cannot offer such an application. Instead, it can work in the completely manual cycle what allows to set all the parameters as you like during taking a photo.
